3rd Gen Tacoma Induction Charger

I built a better induction charger for 3rd gen Tacomas as the factory Qi induction charger doesn’t work with iPhones (or anything with a camera bump or case)

This design taps the Qi power lines at the Qi harness, so it should work even if your truck didn't come with a Qi charger.

Alternatively, you an also tap the cigarette lighter wires.

I also included a non-charger version of the file that you can print if you'd rather replace the OEM charger

This charger plate was designed specifically for the APPLE MagSafe Charger. The Apple chargers are the only chargers I’ve found to be reliable AND a full 25W. Most of the other chargers available are only 15W which don’t charge quickly or effectively.

In order to get the full 25W out of the Apple Charger, you must power it with AT LEAST 35W. You’re free to use any USB-C power adapter you like, I’ve linked the one I’ve used.

NOTE: DO NOT use the 15W usb adapters available on Amazon, otherwise you’ll turn your phone into a heater without actually charging it

I choose to solder my 12V power adapter in place, you can do the same or use Posi-Taps (included) if you don’t want to solder

NOTE: This is ONLY the 3D Printed component, you'll need to supply your own charger/electronics
